Sadly there are a wide range of potentially toxic ingredients in many modern skin care products, as well as other personal and beauty products, and these products are still available for consumers to buy despite the fact that they contain ingredients which in some cases are known to be dangerous to our health, and which in many cases may contain risks, but have never been tested.

Here in Australia, as in the US, most consumers simply assume that products that we can buy that may affect our health must be safe to use. Sadly, both in Australia and the US, this is not the case. Our government does not protect us by requiring companies that manufacture these products such as skin care products to prove that the ingredients in these products are safe for us to use.

And so we seek to publicise this fact to alert consumers to the risks inherent in many of the skin care products they use, and also to alert consumers that there are excellent safe and natural skin care products available which do not contain toxic ingredients, and which are also highly effective at producing the result that consumers want, namely effective skin care.
